Burying my parents
January 26th, 2012 . by adminI knew my parents were getting old, and I knew they had their affairs in order. My dad called me one evening though and asked if I knew where he could get a burial policy for seniors. I knew there were life insurance companies that offered term policies for seniors, but I wasn’t sure about burial insurance. I ended up calling the funeral home in his town. They’d decided long ago they wanted to be laid to rest there. It turns out that there are policies, independent of age. We got it squared away, and my parents were able to spend their last few years content that their family wouldn’t have undue stress at their passing.
